Second Generation Takes Reigns at Gleason & Associates
Parker Joins the Company as Vice President  

(MOBILE, Ala.) – After more than 30 years in the commercial real estate business, Gleason & Associates begins a new era under the leadership of President Tommy Gleason Jr. and Vice President Ryan Parker, who recently joined the company.

Gleason Jr.’s succession as head of the full service commercial real estate management firm took place following the death of his father and company founder, Tommy Gleason Sr., in 2007. Gleason Jr. joined Gleason & Associates in 1999.

“It’s an exciting time to be part of commercial real estate in Mobile as we are in an upswing of growth and development in Mobile,” he said. “I look forward to continuing the success of the company that my father started more than 30 years ago, and being flexible to the changes and needs of the market for commercial real estate in Mobile.”

Last year, Gleason Jr. accounted for more than $10 million in sales for the company, half of which came from out of town investors who believe commercial real estate in Mobile is “a great value and has a promising future.”

A native of Mobile, Gleason Jr. graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in finance with a concentration in real estate. He currently serves as president of the Mobile Commercial Real Estate Exchange Club, and has also served on the boards of the Coastal Conservation Association, Mobile Touchdown Club, Mobile County Wildlife Association.

Parker, also a native Mobile, will focus on business development for the company. His background includes working for the past five years as a real estate agent, licensed in Alabama and Florida. In addition, Parker has worked as a financial advisor. He has worked with and brokered commercial, residential, pre-construction and investment transactions on behalf of investors, developers and business owners.

A graduate of the University of Alabama, Parker has received numerous awards including Coldwell Banker President’s International Elite, Top Producing Agent for Coldwell Banker South Shore Realty in 2005, Top Ten Coldwell Banker agency in Alabama in 2005, Coldwell Banker International Diamond Society and Multi-million Dollar Producer.
